Kit for sampling the oil from the transformer

The inspection and sampling phases can be done by Sea Marconi (if written in the contract) or by the client.

If the diagnostic activities foresees the Standard diagnostic Package, Sea Marconi will provide appropriate Sampling Kits to carry out oil sampling from the transformer and record the data on the appropriate inspection Sampling Card.

The Deos® sampling kit by Sea Marconi complies with the requirements of IEC EN 60475 and IEC EN 60567 and ensure:

  • the use of appropriate containers for the sampling type and the required tests;
  • dry and clean containers;
  • disposable containers when necessary;
  • the safety and protection of the sample during storage and transport;
  • traceability and reference of the sample to the container;
  • automatic compensation of the volume due to varying pressure and temperature;
  • even during air or naval transport, thereby maintaining the conditions of the sample;
  • a representative sample even for non-expert staff;
  • withdrawing the minimum amount of insulating liquid necessary to do the tests.

Sea Marconi has over 10 different types of kits depending on the chosen analysis or on the equipment to be sampled (Buchholz, transformers with pump, turbines and rotating machinery connections, etc.)!
